Hawaii requires LLCs to file an annual report with the Hawaii Secretary of State, along with a $15 fee. This report confirms or updates your LLC's basic information on file — entity name, principal address, registered agent, members or managers.

Hawaii tax note: Filing fee is $50 + $1 State Archives fee = $51. Annual report $12.50 online or $15 by mail. Hawaii has a General Excise Tax (GET) of 4% (4.5% on Oahu) that applies to all business income.
Registered Agent Maintenance
Your LLC must maintain a registered agent with a physical Hawaii street address for as long as the entity exists. This is not optional — if the Hawaii Secretary of State has no valid registered agent on file, they can begin administrative dissolution proceedings.
